Milton Manufacturing is seeking a Director of Operations to lead day-to-day operations, oversee departmental performance, and drive strategic initiatives across the organization. This leadership role plays a vital part in aligning business goals, optimizing efficiency, and fostering a collaborative, high-performing environment, especially within a unionized workforce.

Key Responsibilities

• Hire, train, and oversee departmental managers
  • Conduct timely performance evaluations and implement corrective actions
  • Administer discipline following company policy
  • Establish KPIs and monitor operational performance
  • Analyze and improve business procedures and cross-functional workflows
  • Forecast, manage, and monitor departmental budgets
  • Ensure safe, efficient work environments across all operations
  • Lead cross-department collaboration among operations, engineering, tech, and customer service
  • Enhance productivity and reduce costs through process optimization
  • Implement and communicate company directives and policies organization-wide
  • Support labor relations and interpret collective bargaining agreements
  • Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction and service quality
  • Represent Milton Manufacturing positively to internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business Administration preferred
  • Minimum 5 years in a senior operations role within a unionized manufacturing environment
  • At least 10 years of relevant leadership experience
  • In-depth knowledge of business operations, strategy, and finance
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
