Position Summary:
As a Human Resource Generalist, you will be a key player in the daily operations of the HR department. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and is experienced in both union and non-union HR functions. You’ll support recruitment, compliance, employee relations, performance management, and ensure HR practices align with business goals and employment law.

What You’ll Do:

• Coordinate all aspects of recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations
• Administer employee benefits, leave, compensation, and recognition programs
• Maintain HR compliance with federal, state, and local laws
• Support investigations, disciplinary meetings, and performance evaluations
• Collaborate with managers to identify workforce needs and training opportunities
• Champion a positive workplace culture with a focus on morale and productivity
• Serve as a resource to employees and supervisors on HR policies and best practices

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of HR experience in a unionized manufacturing environment
• Solid knowledge of employment law and HR compliance (union and non-union)
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills
• Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and confidentiality
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
• SHRM-CP or PHR certification (preferred)
